A figure of Balthar of Tinningham, An Anchorite (priest-hermit) who lived on Bass Rock, North Berwick, later enshrined with the Lindisfarne Anchorite, St. Billfrith (creator of the Lindisfarne Gospels) in Durham Cathedral.
